We had an ultrasound yesterday, and it was just a little bit early but we were still hoping to find out the gender of our baby. Lucky for us our little alien was flashing us the goods, so now I can share it with all of you (the news, not the goods)!
Olive is just beaming with excitement; can you tell? She was literally terrified of that piece of paper. She needs to buck up. There are bottles to balance and burp cloths to wear in her immediate future.
We are so excited, and once the shock of it not being a boy (Steve and I were somehow both convinced it was a boy) wore off, we started to really be able to picture what our sweet little girl is going to look like. Poor thing is going to have arms down to her feet and a whole head of curly, dark hair, but she’s going to be the most beautiful thing we’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to meet her!
As far as a name — I’m about 99.8% sure we’ve already decided what the name will be. And it’s…..
JUST KIDDING.
